Chilliwack’s newest trail boasts incredible views of Mt Cheam, Lady, Harrison and the city of Chilliwack. Starting in the Community Forest it branches off onto a unique ridge and continues through the forest until it breaks out into an alpine meadow. Follow the trail through the meadow to the right and after descending 300 meters you will find the rocky outcrop called Gloria Lookout. Just below the lookout there are several campsites for the eager hiker willing to carry their overnight pack up the steep trail!  


Distance: 11.3 km

Elevation Gain: 1500 m

Difficulty: Intermediate/Difficult this trail is steep and some parts are not safe for young children. Older Children with strong endurance and experience will enjoy this challenge.



From Hwy 1 take the Annis Rd exist and continue straight onto Hack Brown Rd towards Unity School. At the first Y turn right onto Nixon Rd, then at the second Y turn left onto Allan Rd. From here there are signs leading to the Community Forest. It is located near the end of Allan Rd on your right. From the parking lot, follow signs to the top of the Cholqthet trail. Continue following signs to the Gloria Lookout.
